Spring Soccer, Graduations and Summer Fun

I coached Malia's soccer team and Paul coached Tacoma's team. I hated coaching 4 years olds they dont listen and would rather pick flowers or make angels in the grass. The first season Malia played she kept asking to go to the park. This season she got a little more into it. She is really fast and aggressive but her attention span is really low. It will be exciting to see what kind of player she turns into. Tacoma has really improved he is also really fast and is not afraid of tackling the ball against players twice his size. He need to work on controlling the ball a little more but is doing great. We just decided he does better with other coaches other than me and paul hopefully that will help him improve more.

Tacoma graduates from Kindergarten and Malia from See world Preschool. Tacoma got the citizenship award for his class for being the nicest and most helpful student. He loved his teacher Mrs. Mathews.
Malia loved her preschool she got the award for most outstanding student for always doing what she was so pose to and being nice to everyone.

In May I ran in 2 half marathons the Dino half and the Ogden half. I ran with Emily in Vernal at the Dino half and got my PR of 1hr 43 min. It felt so good I was way happy Ezra wasnt even 5 months old yet.  But I don't think I was recovered enough to run the Ogden  I pulled my hamstring in Vernal and had to push my self pretty hard  to get the time  of 1hr 45 min. My hamstring started to hurt by mile 4 and the rest of the race felt awful. But it was fun to race with my Price friends Becky, Julianne, Collete, Allie and Nicky. Me Becky and Juliane signed up for the St. George Full Marathon in October but I am still dealing with Hamstring issues and have been trying to recover for the past 3 weeks. I hope I can get better to even train for the race.

In June we had a family reunion in St. George with Pauls family we all stayed at Maudie's house and had a great time. On Saturday she had all these activities planned at the park from Frisbee golf, 4 by 4 relay, volleyball and sprints racing. After she planned the great race with teams going to different places in st george and then they would give them another clue to go somewhere else they had lots of fun. On Monday we went to Sand Hollow and had a great time on sea doos and paddle boards. It was a great family reunion. The rest of the month Tacoma and Paul competed in the lunatic triathlon and did awesome.
