Malia's Kindergarten Graduation and end of Spring Soccer 2015

Malia finished kindergarten and loved it her teacher was Mrs Bettino and Tacoma finished 1st grade he had Mrs Stacy. Naomi stayed home with me and I worked with her.  I have decided to do home school next year. They had great teachers and I didn't care if my kids are the smartest or the best I just want to simplify their lives.  It was a hard decision to make I started thinking about it when I started feeling so overwhelmed with all of my kids activities. I was sick of telling my kids to hurry after school eat a snack hurry do your chores hurry get in the car then we go to some practice or sport and we would come back and hurry eat hurry take a shower hurry read for 20 min I was sick of saying hurry. Then I talked to my friend who told  me she only does home school for 2 hours a day. I liked the idea of my kids having more free time instead of always wanting to be entertained, being a bigger influence in my kids life than everyone else.  We will see how it goes and If they hate it or I do  they can always go back to school. The kids did great in soccer this spring it was Naomi's first season and she did great. Malia is finally figuring it out and was a really good and cutting the ball. Its fun to see how much Tacoma has improved and how hard he always tries.

Easter and Hard wood flooring

We spent all Easter putting in our Bamboo flooring it took us 3 full days of tearing out gross carpet, pulling out staples from the floor, laying down a pad and cutting the floor to snap it in. It should have been a lot faster but we kept making mistakes and had to start over or take several rows out and start again. By the time Easter came I was too exhausted to do anything so I filled Easter eggs with candy and put them in a big basket and put it on the table with a note that said Happy Easter these eggs are for your Easter egg hunt love the Easter bunny. My kids said "I thought the Easter bunny hides the eggs" and I told them he must have been really tired this year. So Dad needs to go hide them. Naomi and our Neighbors little girl named Amelia had fun cutting each others hair. Amelia cut Naomi's hair into a mullet and Naomi cut the front of her hair to her head. I had to go get Naomi's hair fixed into a cute little bob. Amelia's parents had to buzz her head I felt so bad.
