Summer Fall 2015

Tacoma's Baptism
Tacoma got baptized on July 11th 2015. It turned out really well we had Patricia and Juan, Laura and her boys, Roy ,Sueli and Valeska, Pauls Dad, my parents Stevie Stephany's family, Emily's family, Elizabeth and Scott and Becky Peterson came. I asked Tacoma who he wanted to speak at his baptism so I started listing all of the family that could do it but he said he wanted me to do it. I talked about the 3 bears of baptism and gave everyone gummy bears. Elizabeth talked about the holy ghost and gave Tacoma a warm blanket as a comforter and after the baptism Paul's Dad Arthur spoke about his life as a little boy living in the great depression. After we went back to my house I bought sub sandwiches from Walmart and had chips and drinks and it turned out to be a great day.

Malia turns 6 on July 12th

For home school we have been learning about Native Americans. The kids have loved it. I told my kids that we are related to Pocahontas and Tacoma was so mad that if it wasn't for the white people he could still be living in a tepee so I had to help build him one. These are corn husk dolls the Indian kids would make to play with.

For our family reunion we went to bear lake and spent time at Steph's in laws cabin.  It was tons of fun, the kids played at the beach, went fishing played in the hot tub. The only bad thing was that Steph didn't put the chemicals in the hot tub soon enough so most of us got bumps and flew like symptoms from the water. Some got so bad they scared like chicken pocks so I guess we will always remember.

 Halloween fun

We had a home school Halloween party

Pick up the rest of the harvest and taking down the garden
