Malia and Tacoma played soccer this fall. I coached Malia and Paul coached Tacoma, they gave me an extra jersey so I gave it to Naomi. She wanted to play so bad she practiced with us every time and would ask every game to go in. I also coached the High school girls this year we made it to state for first time and had our highest winning season ever. Soccer is still behind here in Price so I'm hoping by the time my kids are there the High school will have a better program. The kids have loved going to the high school practices every day since they get to play with Cynthia and Tracy's kids up on the dirt hills by the soccer field. Ezra did good I got him a big umbrella with toys and food and he would play with kids as well. I took him on one of my away games and he did really good. Ezra is so active he is moving 100 mph all the time we keep joking that his name is monster because we like to yell the monster is coming hurry shut the door, to the fridge, bathroom, outside, dishwasher. Any thing he sees open he sprints to get into it before we close it. He is now getting lost in my house and I tell the kids to go find him he is either in Tacoma's room, the girls room or one of the bathrooms making a mess. Malia did really well with soccer she is super fast she just needs to control the ball better. Malia is my social butterfly she is really affected if someone does or doesn't play with her. Every day it is another drama so and so was mean to her or so and so is her true love. Her kindergarten is full day but I have taken her half day I just felt like School was too long for her since she is the very youngest in her grade, and is nice for Naomi to have someone to play with. Malia is doing really well in school and is starting read better and better. Tacoma has been doing academy with an A license coach 1 day a week and we have seen a huge improvement in his foot work. Tacoma is so agile he can be running full speed then someone pushes him over so he will keep running on his hands and feet like a horse until he gets back up to his feet. He is almost as fast with 4 legs as he is 2. His last game he scored 4 goals and had a different victory lap for each one. One of the goals he ran around like an airplane, another he just knelt down with both hands in the air thanking someone for his goal. Another goal he just yelled GOOOOOL! He has watched too many world cup games. And in his last game he got his first black eye because him and this other kid collided. Tacoma loves 1st grade, and his teacher Mrs. Stacy. His teacher and nothing but good things to say about him that he was a "model student" I told her that we tried to read all summer and he hated it and wasn't doing very good but once school started he was reading fluently and tons better. Mrs Stacy asked Tacoma what made the difference and he said "You made all the difference" I just laughed at his kiss up line. Naomi is home with me and I call her my little helper she works out with me in the morning and helps me clean and take care of ezra and we try to do a craft or learn her letters every day. She is writing her name really well and recognizes letters abcdefnomitps and her numbers 123 she is farther along then my other two because she thinks she older and is always trying to do what they do. Naomi is really strong and athletic she rides her bike really well and the razor and does cartwheels and hand stands all day long.
